Asi Burak

Asi Burak is Co-President at Games for Change, the leading global advocate of digital social impact games. He develops programs to raise the quality and influence of social impact games and produces the Annual Games for Change Festival, dubbed “the Sundance of Video Games.” Asi works with organizations that are developing digital games to further their mission and has consulted with USAID, The World Bank, and the American Museum of Natural History. Prior to joining Games for Change, Asi worked with Newsweek Digital to create an interactive gaming portfolio based on the magazine’s news content, and collaborated with McCann Erickson/MRM Worldwide to use digital games for brand engagement. He also co-founded Impact Games in Pittsburgh and, while there, led the creation of two groundbreaking platforms: PeaceMaker and Play the News. Asi has spoken and lectured around the world and is the winner of numerous awards, including the Knight Foundation News Game Award, the University of Southern California “Reinventing Public Diplomacy through Games,” and four awards with the Israel Advertising Association.
