A program that applies the social design process to the effort to solve the overwhelming issues of the opioid epidemic in public parks. Estuvo Aquí/Was Here shifts from working on the symptoms of public injection and discarded syringes to the urgent need for supporting health in the most vulnerable populations.
Andrea Archer is a graphic designer from New York. She earned her BBA in Marketing and Graphic Design from the University of Notre Dame, where she first learned that design can be used beyond the commercial to effect meaningful change. Andrea hopes to use her professional experience in healthcare and advertising, along with the tools she gains at DSI, to design in service of people and our environment.
