Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy

Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy (JBRPC) is a public-private partnership dedicated to improving public parkland throughout Jamaica Bay and the Rockaway peninsula in New York City. It includes a range of natural spaces such as our Rockaway beaches, Shirley Chisholm Park, Jamaica Bay wildlife, and more. these spaces are federal-, state-, and city-run.

Students in our Spring 2022 Communication Design course collaborated with JBRPC and co-designed with the people who enjoy the waterfront spaces. The result is community outreach materials that help to engage and inform beach lovers about JPRPC’s mission.
